VisionQuest Trailer Reaction and Breakdown

Introduction and First Impressions

Okay guys, so the VisionQuest trailer has dropped and it is releasing in October. So let's react to it. Okay, let's see how it is. Okay, it's in 4K, that's good. Three, two, one, four. "Before you start working, I remember come all time. I was back then. Anyone waiting for you. Did you miss me? Am I... I was. But I am not a hero anymore." "I am a stranger to myself." "It's a boy. How was this possible? Save your son."

Okay, so it looks like they are going in the WandaVision direction again. The whole discovering the mind and all that, it's like okay, fine. I am interested to watch it, but I am not like very very excited that I will be going crazy to watch weekly episodes. Just that I am a Marvel fan so I will definitely watch it. But from a distance I can understand that okay, if someone was not even a Marvel fan then how would it feel.

Ultron's Return and Comic Aesthetic

Seeing Ultron in human avatar felt really good actually. You know, they are following a comic aesthetic. I don't exactly remember, maybe there is a comic by this same name Vision, I have seen its variant covers and he is presented in the same way. And I guess Wanda is in it, Mystic is in it, someone else also comes in it. Wanda is a very big part of it, I guess.

Yes, but it's good. It's good. I won't say it's bad. I mean it's good. It feels fresh. They have tried something unique, a Wes Anderson type thing. It looks cool to watch. This show is important because you cannot sideline Vision. He has been a very important part of the Avengers. He has been a very important part of the original MCU lore. And he is what, close to Superman level power wise, so as a robot, yes he is very important and will play a huge role going forward.

Building Towards Secret Wars and Wanda's Return

Maybe they are trying to give him a bit of lore and build-up so that they don't have to suddenly drop him into a movie and then explain everything there. They will still have to explain a little bit in the movie though. It feels a little bit like, it would have been nice if Wanda was also there. Maybe there will be a surprise cameo somewhere at the end, something will be there for sure. It's just not possible that the whole thing ends and Wanda doesn't show up at all.

It seems like the majority of the story takes place inside his mind. Back and forth, back and forth it will keep going. But apart from that, I won't say anything ground-breaking or extra. But let's like, okay, it felt good watching it. You tell me how you felt about it. I liked it, we will wait. It's coming next month itself I guess. This is definitely an important piece in the build-up towards Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars. Let's see, okay.
