The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the entrance exam for aspiring students who wish to pursue MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BVSc, and other undergraduate medical and dental programs in India.

Key Features of NEET Exam

National Level Exam: NEET is a nationwide entrance test conducted for admission into medical colleges in India.

Single-Stage Exam: NEET is a single-stage exam with no interviews.

Centralized Counseling: After the exam, candidates are allocated seats through centralized counseling by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) or respective state counseling authorities.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET

1.Age Limit
Minimum Age: 17 years as of December 31 in the year of admission.

2.Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed Class 12 or its equivalent with the following subjects: Physics Chemistry Biology/Biotechnology English

3.Minimum Marks
General Category: 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. OBC/SC/ST: 40% aggregate marks in the same subjects. PwD: 45% aggregate marks.

4.Other Criteria
Nationality: Open to Indian nationals, NRIs, OCI, PIO, and Foreign Nationals. Number of Attempts: There is no limit on the number of attempts for NEET.
